Project Implementation
Services provided to customers during project implementation/delivery include:
System setup – 18A Technologies provides comprehensive system setup services for 18A F-Ins Suite installations and helps our customers’ IT units get their systems up and running quickly, easily and optimally. Regular and “on-the-job” training for the IT staff regarding installation, patch strategy, logs, etc. are included in these services.
Analysis and Design – 18A provides analysis and design services to analyze business processes and user needs. These services enable us to better understand the implementation, as well as which business processes need to be adjusted. The usual outcome is a gap analysis document and functional design document that explain the implementation to business users, including the predicted outcome.
Development and configuration – 18A provides robust development and configuration services. We offer numerous tools, training sessions, phased development programs and more to ease implementation and customization. 18A’ configuration services enable quick and easy configuration.
Consulting
18A consulting services include:
Performance evaluation monitoring and tuning – 18A provides a detailed capacity plan according to the client’s needs, including recommended hardware and deployment options, before going live. A performance review performed onsite includes all components of the system, such as server specs, database tuning, operational issues and end user response time. Hardware and software configuration changes are recommended to customers during this process.
Develop a set of KPIs and measurements – 18A helps our customers formulate key performance indicators (KPIs) and appropriate measurements.
Business process evaluation and improvement – by performing a health check of the business processes utilized by our customers, 18A is able to provide recommendations to improve efficiency and streamline business practices. Pre-blueprint (review customer business processes) – as part of the preparation for the blueprint process, 18A will evaluate the clients’ system(s) and processes to help position the 18A solution within the blueprint assessment.
Expert visit – 18A experts are available for both technical and functional consulting.
PMO services – 18A project management office (PMO) services are part of the project governance activities. The PMO services provide project management methodology, processes and tools.
Go-live readiness – go-live readiness services cover the production roll-out plan, user training and subsequent user support in the first days/weeks of production. They also cover the operational side of production, such as planning the batch cycle, run books, error handling, performance test and tuning, etc. Up to level 3 support (working on maintenance releases and their deployment) is provided during go-live readiness.
Change management – 18A aims to provide a clearly defined scope as part of the customer engagement. We work with our partners to ensure a robust change management process is conducted. A full cost-benefit analysis is performed and the impact on costs, timelines and feasibility is determined.

Data Migration
18A migration services include:
Migration data extract – the data extract process includes the analysis of the source systems for data extract and mapping, development of extract software and execution of extract software during migration tests and the production run.
Migration data load – the data load process includes analysis of the data model definition of the intermediate business layer between the source and 18A’ systems and mapping. It also includes development of load software and execution of the load software during the migration testing and production run.
Migration data reconciliation –the data reconciliation process includes analysis and definition of the reconciliation reports required for the data migration process, development of the reconciliation software and execution of the software during migration tests and the live run.
Migration data masking –the migrated data is masked so it can be executed and tested on a remote machine.
Migration data-to-data comparison – the data is checked on the lowest level of the business entity and the entity is compared in the source system to the entity in 18A’ system
Business and systems migration strategy – the business and systems migration strategy, as well as other elements related to the selected strategy – such as business continuity, risk management and backlog handling – are determined. The main data migration strategy points, as well as migration planning, testing and training, are defined at a high level.
